My Teaching Philosophy

It is inevitable that every musician will have to relearn something they got wrong at some point. The importance of recognizing a flaw in what someone has learned and changing it for an ultimately better outcome is what helped me personally get closer to a more well-rounded musician. Whether the problem is how to create vibrato, posture, or flat-out holding the instrument wrong, effective communication in teaching changed my entire musical knowledge for the better. I believe it is also important that in the classroom, all students are comfortable and accommodated for no matter their different learning challenges.
